At Blue Vagabonds, we believe in the power of collaboration to create meaningful and lasting change. That’s why we’ve partnered with a diverse range of organizations, local communities, and businesses who share our commitment to sustainable tourism, marine conservation, and supporting coastal livelihoods. Together, we’re working to protect our oceans, empower communities, and offer truly unique travel experiences.

Fuvahmulah Marine Foundation

Fuvahmulah Marine Foundation (FMF) is a locally driven non-profit dedicated to protecting and conserving the pristine marine ecosystem that surrounds the Maldivian island paradise of Fuvahmulah. Currently the Foundation works on establishing a network of water filters around the island to reduce plastic waste from increasing tourism.

We work with FMF to help fund and install water filters in Fuvahmulah and continue to build close relationships with the local community.

Waterhaul Sunglasses

Waterhaul is a Cornwall-based company on a mission to tackle one of the ocean's most pressing problems: ghost gear. By recovering lost and abandoned fishing nets and lines from the UK coastline and recycling them into their Traceable Marine Plastic, they transform the ocean's most harmful plastic waste into purposeful, beautifully made products.

We are proud to wear Waterhaul sunglasses on the boats during our expeditions. Made from recovered ghost fishing gear, built to last a lifetime, and backed by a lifetime warranty. With some of the best polarised lenses we have ever tried, they cut through surface glare and make spotting wildlife on the water effortless. Quality and conservation going hand in hand, and every purchase directly funding the recovery of plastic from our oceans. Exactly the kind of product we believe in.
